01 · Our story
The story behind fully managed office coffee
Coffee Star began in Shah Alam in 2020. Our founder, Raja Ahmad Fauzan, is an engineer by training who had already run retail kiosks at KLIA, KLCC, Subang and Senai airports. He brought an engineer’s habit to coffee: if a machine has to work every day, someone has to own its upkeep. That someone should be us, not the office.
We started in the pandemic. Self-serve Coffee ATMs placed in hospitals served 10,000 free cups to frontliners. Running on their own when nobody could stand beside them, those kiosks set the pattern for everything since: a good bean-to-cup machine, good beans, and our team looking after both.
Today that pattern runs at more than 114 Auto-Barista locations across Malaysia, in offices, hospitals, universities, airports and transit hubs, and we are expanding into Saudi Arabia. Our machines report to STARGATE™, our remote monitoring platform, and the used grounds we collect on service visits are composted through Bean2Blossom.

Participant ID 153705. First exhibitions at MAHA in Serdang and MIHAS in Kuala Lumpur.
- 2025Puro partnership and Saudi entry
Partnership with Puro Coffee (Belgium) and a Saudi partner. Top 10 finalist, Hajj Sustainability Solutions. Belcoff Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd incorporated.
- January 2026ESG National Winner
National Winner, SME ESG Challenge 2025/2026 (SME Corp Malaysia × UN Global Compact Network Malaysia, Brunei & Cambodia) for Bean2Blossom.
- August–September 2026Own booth at MAHA 2026

03 · How we work
Three things we do properly
Great coffee
Every cup is Puro: Fairtrade and organic certified, roasted in Belgium by Miko, a roaster established in 1801. Fairtrade means a guaranteed minimum price plus a community premium for farmers, and Puro sales fund rainforest conservation through World Land Trust. The coffee is Halal-recognised. We also serve tea, hot chocolate and matcha.
Smart machines
Every Auto-Barista is bean-to-cup and reports to STARGATE™, our remote monitoring platform, so we know how it is running without waiting for a call. The range has eleven machines, including the Stellar H11 flagship launched in October 2026, and the same Auto-Baristas also run as self-serve, cashless Coffee ATMs.
Fully managed
With Office Coffee Service your office never buys the machine. We install the Auto-Barista in your pantry, refill the beans and milk, clean it, service it and watch it remotely, on one monthly subscription. Pantry supplies and water filtration can be bundled in. One subscription, one number to WhatsApp. That is what fully managed means.
